i've been cooking more, usually new things: sweet potato caldo verde, boxty with parmesan mushroom cream sauce, blackberry upside down cake. what i like about cooking is the possibility - endless. you will never be able to learn everything.

that is why i like classical dressage, why i respect it more than any other visual art: it is nearly impossible to master.

it requires so much. natural ability, the right body type, the passion, the mind to study it both academically and in practice, a developed and self-critical eye, almost superhuman balance, the right training, the temperament, and maybe most of all, the finesse that cannot really be learned.
anything that can be mastered through training alone is less significant.
